How RpcNode collects and uses account, billing, and usage data for the managed Full Node RPC Service.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how RpcNode (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use rpcnode.dev and the managed Full Node RPC Service (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge this Policy. For product rules, see our Terms of Service.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:
- Account data — email, name or display name, authentication identifiers (including Google/GitHub OAuth IDs when you link them), password hashes (we do not store plaintext passwords).
- Billing data — plan selection, invoices, and payment status. When card payments are enabled, card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage data — endpoint identifiers, request volumes, rate-limit events, network/method usage needed to operate plans and prevent abuse.
- Technical logs — IP addresses, user-agent, timestamps, and error diagnostics for security, reliability, and support.
- Communications — messages you send to admin@rpcnode.dev or other published contacts.
3. How we use information
- provide, secure, and improve the Service;
- authenticate users and protect accounts;
- bill plans, prevent fraud, and enforce usage limits;
- respond to support requests and operational notices;
- comply with law and our AML policy;
- analyze aggregate usage to improve reliability (not to sell personal profiles).
4. Sharing
We may share information with:
- infrastructure and email providers that host or operate the Service;
- payment processors for checkout and invoicing;
- authorities when required by law or to protect the Service and users;
- professional advisers under confidentiality where needed.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and similar tech
We use essential cookies and browser storage (for example local storage) so you can sign in, keep a session, and use the cabinet. These are required for the Service to work.
When you first visit, you can choose Accept all or Essential only. If you choose essential only, optional analytics cookies are not enabled. The site and account features remain available. If you accept all and Google Analytics is configured, we load Google’s gtag (GA4) to measure aggregate traffic. We do not load that script until you consent. We do not load third-party advertising trackers.
6. Retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, dispute, and security purposes. Technical logs are retained for a limited operational window unless needed longer for investigations.
7. Security
We apply industry-reasonable measures to protect data (access controls, encrypted transport, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please protect your credentials and endpoint URLs.
8. International transfers
The Service may be operated from servers in the EU and other regions. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps appropriate to the context (contractual and technical safeguards) consistent with applicable law.
9. Your choices
You may update account details in the cabinet, close your account by contacting us, or request access/correction/deletion where applicable law provides those rights. Some records (for example invoices) may need to be retained.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above will change when we publish a revision. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
